Crosslinked Polyethylene material is formed by connecting polyethylene molecules with a chemical link during the manufacturing process, making for a stronger container. Crosslinked Polyethylene Containers are known for being more corrosion and chemical resistant than its peers such as stainless steel, mild steel, high density polyethylene (HDPE) and fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) containers. Crosslinked containers carry 5 times the impact strength of HDPE and are preferred for the storage of other harsh chemicals that are known to be stress cracking agents.
